GRANDPARENT'S / SPECIAL FRIEND'S DAY 

FRIDAY MARCH 9

It will be exciting with the new format of arriving this year.  The family groups will have fun going around to the different rooms and activities.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND BACKPACKS to school on Friday.  Friday Folders will come home on Thursday. 

I will not be able to be at Grandparent/Special Friend's Day.  I will be traveling to Florida with my husband to attend a Lutheran Principals conference.  My daughter HANNAH will be subbing for me!

 Zion Bobcats excel in generosity once again! Our students and their supportive families and friends have raised over eighteen thousand dollars this year for the life saving work of the American Heart Association. Thank you students for your outstanding job and thank you volunteers for helping our events run smoothly. God has truly blessed our Zion community with a spirit of generosity.

I pray as you continue this Lent Journey you remember our memory verse for this week:  For it is by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH... It is a GIFT of GOD, not a result of works so that no one can boast.  Please keep worship a priority this weekend and don't forget about the Wednesday worship opportunity at 3:30 and 7:00.
