We will also be playing games, making a snack and craft and eating pizza, oranges and sugar cone Christmas trees! If you child doesn't want or can't eat pizza feel free to send them a cold lunch.
A BIG THANK YOU to my dad, Paul Trinklein, for cutting out and my husband for helping me sand and paint 176 wood pieces for our Nativity scenes!
Look for the December Reading Assessment next Wednesday in the Red Folder.
LOOK FOR ALLCHRISTMAS ART TO COME HOME NEXT WEEK IN A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS BAG!!!
This week we learned that an angel told Mary and Joseph that they would have a special baby and they should name him
JESUS, which means "GOD SAVES".
The prophets foretold that Jesus name would be
IMMANUEL, which means, "GOD IS WITH US"
Make time this weekend to worship and prepare your heart for the Baby who came to earth to be WITH US, to SAVE US, and GIVE US JOY!
In HIM,
Amy
I hope you noticed your child being intentional about sharing the GOOD NEWS of JESUS this Advent Season.
Our class Christmas monkey, Claus, has been sharing with us ways to share Jesus everyday!
Christmas cards
Candy canes because we told about the shepherds in our Advent service, we even surprised Mrs. Kuhlmann's class with a special candy cane treat!
We had a great time making up a cartoon about Claus everyday. Look at them when they come home they are great and tell a fun story!
New crayons to color our nativity scene
New red pens, blue highlighter and green pencil to write on a post it note "Jesus Loves You". Have you seen the note?
The monkey went home. He gave us a game to play and promised to send a friend, but we have to wait!
We enjoyed making and playing with our very own Nativity!
Did you know that our prayer leader prays for us each day before lunch!
