This week we got to meet Missionay Greg Holz. He led our chapel and told us about his work in Cambodia. He mainly works with the street children. These children live in the dump with their families in Cambodia. His mission work at Crossing Cambodia picks the kids up in a pickup truck and daily brings them to a center where the children are bathed, fed 2 meals a day, and are given an education. Most importantly the children learn about their Savior Jesus!
Ask your kid about some of the food that is eaten in Cambodia!
We are partnering with Crossing Cambodia mission and Mr. Greg Holz to provide meals for a year.
There are about 30 kids in their program and each meal cost 50 cents.
Look at our class offering totals and the school total is $1,400.

This week I did our first sight word testing. These are words we have been working on the past few weeks. These words need to be said without sounding them out. The words on red cards are red ticket words, they don't follow the rules and can't be sounded out. You need to stop and think how to say or write the red ticket words. The green cards are words that follow the rules and could be sounded out. I am looking for automaticity, the words can be said without sounding out. I expect the words to be said within 3 seconds of showing the card. If you child came home with words that means they did not pass the word on the verbal test. Please work on the words and I will retest next week. The cards are yours to keep.

at 10:45 to warm up. Look for Mrs. Kuhlmann or me to direct you up the stairs.
After the service you my pick up your child from the WELCOME CENTER, the lobby in the back of the church.
Joseph was down and out. His brothers wanted to kill him, instead they sold him into slavery. He was in a foreign land as a slave alone. Then he was wrongly accused and thrown into jail. Things were bad. We know that God used Joseph to save the people from the famine. Joseph forgave his brothers and reunited his family. What a wonderful God who works all things for good.
Make time to worship our wonderful God. There is still time to join us for Bible Study and Sunday School this Sunday at 9:30. Bible Study in the church basement and Sunday School is in the school commons.
