Thank you for all the prayers for my daughter.  Her surgery went well. We are praying she comes home from the hospital Friday night, if not then on Saturday.
She has 4-6 weeks of recovery ahead but we are thankful that the surgery is over and she is doing well.

This week we learned that the angel told Mary and Joseph that the baby should be named 
JESUS, which means "GOD SAVES".
The prophets foretold that Jesus name would be 
EMMANUEL, which means, "GOD IS WITH US"
Make time this weekend to worship and prepare your heart for the Baby who came to earth to be WITH US and to SAVE US!

I have planned a small party for us including a snack-activity, BINGO, and short Christmas video.

Christmas Spirit Week is NEXT WEEK - December 14-18

My daughter, Hannah, is having surgery on Monday.  I will be here Monday but plan to be gone Tuesday afternoon to be with her in the hospital.  Thank you for your prayers.

I really enjoy preparing for Christmas with the kids, this second week of Advent.  I look forward to next week, the third week of Advent and the JOY it will bring!

In STEAM we were given 2 pipe cleaners, a light, and a battery, the challenge was to make a Christmas tree with a light at the top, that actual lit up!






We really had to work and try different things to make it work. It really had us work on problem solving and GRIT!
