This weekend at Zion the 8th graders will be confirmed.  They will get to confess their beliefs and confirm their baptismal vows.  May God bless them and may the Holy Spirit fill them as they go out and share Jesus love.  This week as we learned about the early church.  We went over to church we sang, we heard God's Word, and we prayed for each confirmand.

I am so thankful to God for this school year.  It has been a joy to share your children this year.  I have seen them grow so much and feel blessed that I was given the opportunity to teach them.  This is a class full of so many talented and unique personalities.  Thank you for partnering with me this year.  I feel that your children and you have become part of my family.  I will keep you in my heart and prayers.  I am truly blessed and love coming to school everyday.  To God all praise and glory.

All for ONE,
Amy Bernhardt

A sneak peek at our last full week...

THIS IS FAMILY,
THIS IS ZION

You may not know Julia, she works in our cafeteria cleaning the trays. She is always quick with a smile and a kind complement.  She loves her job and the teachers and students who talk to her each day.  Julia's birthday is in June and we decided to celebrate early by giving her balloons (she loves balloons), a disco light (she loves to dance), a cake and cards (many with Thomas the Train, her favorite)!
