September 10, 2021

 This week we learned about God protecting Noah and how God's rainbow reminds us of His promise to care and love us.  God used the flood to wash the earth; the world was given a new life.  God uses His Word and the waters of Baptism to wash our sins away and gives us the gift of eternal life.  I am thankful that God is faithful.

Remember God keeps His promises to us!

This year we are partnering with Greg Holz, a missionary in Cambodia, to provide meals for the 30 students in his village.  Greg Holz feeds the children 2 twice a day 5 days a week.  Our chapel offerings will provide 15,600 meals!
These meals will coast $4, 680.  What a great way to share the love of Jesus to the children in Cambodia!  Watch for updates as we are SENT to help provide meals to hungry children.

You are your child’s PFD!!
Pastor Rouland in Confirmation always says at the first class, you are your child’s PFD, Personal Faith Developer.  As parents we are given the task of developing our child’s faith.  Do not fear you are not alone in this task.  The Holy Spirit will help you along with Zion Church and School.  You may wonder what a PFD does;
Pastor Rouland gives three responsibilities:
set an example, be authentic, and be faithful.

May God bless you in your job of PFD!
