A BIGGER SNEAK PEAK AT OUR WEEK...
We didn't catch a leprechaun. He left us gold dust, gold pencils and a treasure.
Trouble was the treasure was locked up.

We looked at the clues.

We worked together to solve the clues.

We started to unlock the locks.

We even needed to use a computer.

We solved the last clue and opened the last lock.

He left us Skittles, a rainbow of fruit flavors.

We continue to walk through Lent.
Even our devotions were GOLD on Monday.
Reading Centers...

We worked with a robot this week.

In gym we learned about working together to toss and catch a ball with a net.

We are counting money, dimes, nickels, and pennies!

Mr. Frecks, a Vietnam Veteran, presented us with a certificate of appreciation for our work on making the plarn for the mats for homeless veterans.

As we journey through Holy Week we learned about Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane

We are learning about ADJECTIVES.
We used popcorn!

We wrote words to describe the popcorn.

We are learning about different groups of which we could belong.

This week during our Faith Family Event we put together 160 care packages for Friends with Kids with Cancer.  Thank you to Thrivent Financial for helping to pay for the items in the care packages.  As a Faith Family studied Matthew 5:13-16 and were reminded to salt and light to the world.  We pray these care packages will help in a small way ease the suffering of the kids who receive them and let them know that someone cares for them.  It is good to work together and share God’s love.  It was also good to celebrate baptismal birthdays in the months of March and April.

Baptismal Remembrance Service

We are writing TEACHING BOOKS.  We are learning about non-fiction illustrations.

We are learning about Georgia O'Keefe.
I am so excited about this project and how hard the students worked on their artwork.
We looked at a flower and drew it.

We used paper towels and glue water to form a 3D flower.

Then we painted.
