This week we learned about God protecting Noah and how God's rainbow reminds us of His promise to care and love us. God used the flood to wash the earth; the world was given a new life. God uses His Word and the waters of Baptism to wash our sins away and gives us the gift of eternal life. I am thankful for the for rain and relief from the heat. Remember God keeps His promises to us!
A song from Chapel that reminds us of our Bible verse this week.

Thank you Farmers Insurance for the teacher bag of goodies. I had entered a drawing and won!
Look for the Bobcat Shuffle information in the Friday Folder. This is a fun fundraiser!
Your child's school pictures are in the Friday Folder.
We have gone to Library 2 times. Remember on library day is Thursday. Each child may check out 2 books as long as the books from the week before are turned in. Books maybe turned in any day and must be returned on Thursday.
In reading next week we are talking about good reading habits. It is always good to drop the old bad habits and start new good habits.
I encourage you to work on good worship habits. Let your child know and see that God and worship is a priority in your life. I hope to see you in church and Bible study this weekend!

A Sneak Peek at our week:

We learned that words need to be in the correct order for a sentence to make sense.

We are learning about warm and cool colors and optical illusion art with the help of Victor Vaserely.
We then sketched our story. Next week we write!
We became plant parents and we can't wait for our little sprouts!
This is good to practice at home. It makes our brains think!
