NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23: Teachers will be attending the St. Louis Lutheran Teacher's Conference at the Science Center.

LEVELED READING BOOKS:  On Monday your child will bring home a book that is on your child's level and your child should be able to read it with minimal help.  Please have your child read these books, they should even read them several times.  This helps to build fluency and self confidence.  Please send the books back on the following Monday. Each week your child will receive a new book.  If books are not returned or lost there is a $1 fee to replace the book.

Reading is so important in First Grade.  The best way to become a good reader is to READ, READ, READ!  Thank you for helping your child become a good reader.

I am in need of 20 adult size shoe boxes for a service project on October 21.
If you are able to help please send them in to school.
Don't forget to use the TOGETHER WE'RE BETTER form to order your gift cards.
What an easy way to raise money for our school!
