Please look in your child's Yellow Friday Folder each week There isn't much work in the Friday Folder this week. Please send the folder back on MONDAY!!
Please mark your child's church and sunday school attendance. You do not have to attend Zion, church any church counts when marking attendance.
We will start practicing writing our names the correct way. With the first letter capital and the rest lower case. Also we are learning the correct formation of the letters in our name.
Look for a sign up sheet next Friday for Special Helper Days.
The St. Louis Blues Street Hockey program is coming back to Zion! They will be here August 25th-28th to work with our first through eighth graders. In order for your child to participate you must complete the waiver at the link below. Please complete the waiver by Thursday, August 21st. Thank you for your support!
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know your child this week and I look forward a terrific year. This class has done a great job learning our routines with our missions and building stamina for difficult tasks.

Moseley and Mrs. Ford's dogs taught us about how to learn on the carpet!
We have been First Grade Agents going on many missions to learn about first grade procedures.
First Grade is DOH much fun! It is going to BEE a great year.
I hope you saw the playdoh and red Zion shirt in your child's book bag on Wednesday.
