We are learning to FOCUS, using our eyes, ears, and brain. When we FOCUS we look at the person talking, we listen to what the person is saying, and we use our brain to think about what the person is telling us to do. Sometimes we even repeat in our head what they said to remember. This is something you could practice at home!

If you are driving on a field trip you must have a current background check. All parents are welcome to attend parties, the parents listed will be given a job to do at the party.

A reminder CAR on a paper means it should be corrected at home and returned to school the next day.

Once the paper is returned I will grade it and write OK over the original number wrong and write -0.

A yellow circle is how I mark a reversal or misinformed number or letter and I have the child write the number/letter correctly.

Have a wonderful 4 day weekend! We have worked very hard this week at school. Look for the Home Support for Phonics on Tuesday.

These pages will normally come home on Friday for the next week.

You may use them to give your child extra support and/or practice for what we are learning in phonics at school. We are done reviewing consonants and vowels and now will start phonics patterns.

Our offerings this year are going to support the Lutheran Bible Translators in translating the Bible into the Kerewe Language in Tanzania. It cost $35 to translate 1 verse.

Watch as our class helps to translate John 1.
