This week in Faith Families we had the opportunity to make a positive impact and share the love of Jesus with children in foster care right here in the St. Charles area.

We did a devotion on Matthew 28:35-40, Jesus tells us that when we help others it is like we are helping Him.  We then learned about TOGETHER WE RISE -SWEET CASES service project.

As a faith family we decorated and filled the sweet case duffel bags.  We prayed for the child who will receive this bag. These bags will be delivered to local foster care agencies to be given to children in St. Charles.  What opportunity to work together as a Family of Faith to make the children in foster care feel loved and give them something of their own.

We ended our Faith Family Chapel with the celebration of Baptisms for the months of March and April.

PLEASE SEND IN AN EGG CARTON WITH 12 PLASTIC EGGS to school by April 12 .  We will be doing a religion project on April 15 . You may sent them in any time before March 23 .

I hope your family and friends had a wonderful time last Friday.

We started a new non-fiction book in writing.

We studied and made clouds.

We compared and ordered numbers in different patterns, by 2's, 5's, and 10's.

We learned that Mary anointed Jesus feet with oil.

We got to put some oil on our hands.

We liked the way the expensive oil smelled.

We use our shared reading big book to learn reading skills and practice our fluency!

We watched Mrs. Hoehner's class do a BAKING SHOW!
