WE SING IN CHURCH THIS SATURDAY, February 3 at 5:00.
Please have your child to the upper music room at 4:45. We will come down for the children's message and after the message the children will come and sit with you, their families.
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 7 is a HALF DAY. School is dismissed at 12:00.
I will be attending a visitation of another Lutheran School to view a new Reading Program that day.
So I will be having a sub on Wednesday morning.

We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday February 14. Please send your child’s Valentines in the morning. We are making our boxes and look forward to giving out the Valentines at the party, making cards for shut ins and doing a valentine science experiment. Please send a valentine for each child in the class. Look in past posts for the class list. If you have extras Julia and Tyler love valentines.
Please include everyone and remember please DO NOT send in candy or food with the valentines.
I could use a hand or two to help with the party, just email me if you are interested.
TOGETHER WE'RE BETTER: Please support our school by using this easy program. The forms for TWB can be downloaded off Zion's website under the News section.
I will be using PTL money to fund a special Lent Devotion Project. Together We're Better provides money to fund special activities in the classrooms.
Grandparents’ or Special Friends’ Day is scheduled for Friday, March 9th from 8:00-11:00. Please plan on having a grandparent or special guest attend. Your child must have an adult present.
8:00 - 8:30 Arrive anytime between 8:00 - 8:30
8:00 - 9:45 AM Guests and students stay together
and spend time at various activities. A map will go home with
students and extra maps will be available that day. Family units
decide where they want to start. Each classroom will have a special
activity.
*ZION ASKS YOU STAY TOGETHER AS A FAMILY UNIT FOR PROPER SUPERVISION*
9:45 - 10:00 AM Guests and students travel to church sanctuary
10:00 - 11:00 AM Closing program and chapel
11:00 AM Dismissal (from the church sanctuary)
THIS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THEN IN PAST YEARS. THE FAMILY UNIT WILL STAY TOGETHER THE WHOLE DAY. THE STUDENTS WILL ARRIVE WITH THE GRANDPARENTS OR SPECIAL FRIEND AND GO RIGHT TO THE VARIOUS CLASSROOMS FOR THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES.
Students must have a grandparent or special friend to participate in the day.
