The pre test is on the back of the post test.
Read your child's informational paragraph about Ruby Bridges.
After learning about Ruby Bridges in Social Studies.  The students filled out fact about her as a class, then wrote the paragraph INDEPENDENTLY!  I am so proud of the great paragraphs!!

Check out First Grade Milestone Class that will be about worship!
Thank you to the parents who helped chaperone our field trip.  We enjoyed going to the play!  I was so proud of our students and their respectful behavior during the play. We did a great job representing Zion Lutheran School!

We had a great time participating in the American Heart Challenge today!  We lead the school in donations, our class has raised $4,727! (we raised $300 more since I took the photo on Thursday!) Several of the first graders are in the top 10 fundraisers for Zion, and Leighton is currently the top fundraiser for Zion School!
Thank you for helping your child learn they can make a difference for those who have sick hearts.
We will be making Lent Devotion Centers for your family.  Look for them to come home with special Lent devotions on Tuesday!

Enjoy your weekend, make worship a priority for your family.
