College Care Package Party: October 9 in the afternoon, this is our HARVEST PARTY! It is a different date than the rest of the school!

We will be doing a service project for our Harvest Party. We will be make care packages for college students. I will be purchasing snacks to send, the students will be writing letters and putting Bible verses on post it notes to send. You can help by donating money to purchase the snacks. You can send me a donation to the service project via VENMO, or send money in an envelope and give to me. My VENMO is @Amy-Bernhardt-3. Please send money by September 29. Mrs. Kuhlmann and I will get Thrivent Grants to pay for the shipping of the care packages. We plan to make and send 50 care packages. Thank you for your help.
Reminder that the teachers will be attending the Missouri Lutheran Teachers' Conference in Oct. 11-13. NO School on Oct. 11-13
Take a look at the Math Assessment, if you look on the back you will see the pre-assessment which was done on the first day of the unit.
You should be seeing some papers like these coming home. These are great to practice reading at night. These are things your child should be able to read aloud to you. If your child is not reading fluently (at a speaking rate and with expression) it is good to have them read the same thing a few nights in a row. I have been giving stickers to kids who read the books/lists and return them with a parent signature.
I am getting overwhelmed with the management of CAR Math papers. So... if your child misses several Math problems I will still mark CAR, but if it is just a few I won't mark CAR. Feel free to look at the Math papers and give help or make corrections but you don't need to send them back unless it is CAR.

GOD CHOSE US!!!
May worship and Bible study and Sunday School be a priority for your family this weekend! I would love for you to join my table at Bible Study!!
