Even though things looked bad for Joseph many times God used the trouble in his life for GOOD!

October 9: Johnny Appleseed Day 

We will be filling our morning with fun apple activities to celebrate Johnny Appleseed.


College Care Package Party: October 9 in the afternoon, this is our HARVEST PARTY!  It is a different date than the rest of the school!

We will be doing a service project for our Harvest Party.  We will be make care packages for college students.  I will be purchasing snacks to send, the students will be writing letters and putting Bible verses on post it notes to send. You can help by donating money to purchase the snacks.  You can send me a donation to the service project via VENMO,  or send money in an envelope and give to me. My VENMO is @Amy-Bernhardt-3.  Please send money by September 29.  Mrs. Kuhlmann and I will get  Thrivent Grants to pay for the shipping of the care packages.  We plan to make and send 50 care packages. Thank you for your help.

Reminder that the teachers will be attending the  Missouri Lutheran Teachers' Conference in  Oct. 11-13.  NO School on Oct. 11-13


Reading is so important in First Grade.  The best way to become a good reader is to READ, READ, READ!  Thank you for helping your child become a good reader and reading with them every night!
