 Surely He took up our pain

and bore our suffering,

yet we considered Him punished by God,

stricken by Him, and afflicted.

But He was pierced for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on Him,

 and by His wounds we are healed.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,

each of us has turned to our own way;

and the LORD has laid on Him

the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:4-6

Thank you so much for helping me celebrate my birthday a few days early! What a fun surprise!!

The angel said to the women,
“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for
Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen,
just as He said.

Come and see the place where He lay.
Then go quickly and tell His disciples: ‘
He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.

There you will see Him.’ Now I have told you.”
Matthew 28:5-7
