This week we learned about Pentecost, when Jesus sent us our helper the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit give us our faith and helps us be bold and brave to share our faith in Jesus with others.

A Look Ahead:

Memory: Everyone is DONE
Religion: the early church
Spelling: lesson 30
Writing: Poety unit
Phonics: diphthongs, ou/ow, au/aw, wa
Grammar: adjectives
Math: fractions and centimeters
Science: weather
Art: Georgia O'Keefe

We have been working on counting dimes, nickels, and pennies.  This is something you could practice at home.

We do go outside at several times during the peak sun hours. You may want to put sunscreen on your child in the morning or send some in their book bag to put on before recess.

On Friday, May 21, Mrs. Steinbacher is planning a small field day for our class.  We will have an extended lunch recess on that day.   You child may wear athletic shorts and a spirit shirt, please have your child wear tennis shoes.

He tends His flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in His arms
and carries them close to His heart;
He gently leads those that have young.
Isaiah 40: 11

Being a mom can be a rewarding yet challenging job,
especially now!
Please know that God is with you and

He carries you close to His heart.
May you have a wonderful day!
