October 29, 2020

           We learned about Martin Luther

                  and the Reformation.

We are thankful that Martin Luther was bold to tell the truths about God. He used art and songs to teach about God.

May we be BOLD like Martin Luther and tell others about God's everlasting, enduring, great love for us!

We had another shorter week, but we packed in a lot of learning.  I hope you saw the book we made for Red Ribbon Week, learning about healthy choices.  Take a look at our pictures from our special dress up days and activities.

We have the privilege to worship freely and hear God's true Word, may worship be a "thing" your family does this weekend.

Enjoy the longer weekend!

REFORMATION ACTIVITIES
We went on a scavenger hunt to find the parts to Luther's Seal.  Luther made artwork to teach us about God, so we put the pieces together to make artwork to remind ourselves and tell others about God.

We retold Martin Luther's life story with a castle and symbols as well as illustrating a book.
We were like Luther and wrote true sentences about God.

TWINS

We celebrated baptism for October, November, and December.

Pastor Rouland talked to us in chapel about being clothed in God's rightousness!

TWINS with a READING BUDDY

As your child about our book theme for this week.

We learned about Still Life Portraits and used oil pastels and vegetable oil to make a still life of a pumpkin.
