We decorated a shoebox for our college student.

We filled the boxes with a ton of snacks and goodies!

We learned about John Chapman, Johnny Appleseed!

We wrote facts that we learned about Johnny Appleseed.

We weighed and measured apples.

We sequenced a book about Johnny Appleseed.

We went on an apple word scavenger hunt.
We learned about how God is like an apple.

We then made an apple and labeled the parts.

We taste tested different apples.

We made a chart of out favorites.
Most of us really enjoyed the applesauce.

We made shape poems using Apple words.

This apple are was a figure it out project.  The class was given an example and the materials and they had to figure out how to make and label the apple.  My favorite quote was "I thought this was going to be hard but it is fun!"
