God has marked us at our baptisms. He makes us His and promises to never let go. As we journey through Lent let us focus on the price that was paid for us. To claim us God sacrificed His only Son. Praise be to God for His everlasting love for us.

Our classroom Lent Worship Center

I hope your family will use the Lent worship center. May this be a reminder to spend time as a family around God’s Word and in prayer. After Lent you may take the candles out (Save them for next year) and hang the cross up with the plain side out. Then it is a year long reminder of our SAVIOR!! Thank you to Mr. Bernhardt, for cutting out the cross pieces for us to put together!

WE SING THIS SATURDAY FEBRUARY 29 at 5:00 please have your child in the upper music room in the church at 4:50 to warm up. We will come down for the children's message and your child return to you after the message and sit with you during the rest of the service. Please stand up after the children's message so you child can find you!

Upcoming Information:

The Book Fair will be open March 4 and 5 till 4:00 and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm for Grandparent's/Special Friend Day.
Our class will go to preview the Book Fair on Wednesday at 1:30.

Due to the Book Fair,
we will be eating lunch in our room Wednesday and Thursday.
Hot lunch and milk will still be available.
PLEASE NO PEANUT BUTTER OR PEANUT PRODUCTS on those days.

March 6, GRANDPARENT'S DAY/SPECIAL FRIEND DAY,

I can't wait for the Special Visitors to our school. My classroom is an art room. Please see past posts for information on the day.

Zion Bobcats, You have put our school theme” Called to Care” into action! Your enthusiasm and sportsmanship was fantastic during our Kids Heart Challenge events and as a school we have reached our goal of collecting over $20,000.00 for the American Heart Association. In fact, we raised just over $21,000.00. Incredible! God has truly blessed us to be a blessing to others!

Please remember that you will have to be very patient as we await the arrival of the larger “Thank you gifts”. They should be here by the end of March. Thank you Bobcat Nation!

We sure enjoyed the play at the Civic Center. Thank you parents for driving and helping to chaperone!
