Our Bible verse this week reminds us that 

God is ALWAYS with us,

wherever we go!

 We had Chapel in the gym since the church is being painted.  Mr. Maddick told us about how God came to live with His people in the desert and that He lives with us also.  Where two or three are gathered in His name He is there.  God is with us!

A Look Ahead:

Next week is a short week.  There is no school on Thursday and Friday.

PARENT CONFERENCES ON THURSDAY- I look forward to meeting with you.  Please keep me on time by knocking on my door at your scheduled time!

FALL BREAK ON FRIDAY-Enjoy the day off!

Religion: Apple Trinity Lesson

Reading and Writing:  We will focus on Apple themed activities 

We will read a biography of Johnny Appleseed and focus on character analyzes and the we will write about Johnny Appleseed.

Grammar: Reiview Nouns

Spelling: THERE WILL BE NO SPELLING NEXT WEEK

Centers: Apple themed review centers

Please have your child bring an APPLE to school on TUESDAY.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

Picture Retakes on TUESDAY OCTOBER 13.

WE SING OCTOBER 25 at 10:30 in church.  Please plan on attending.  Children will need to be in the upper choir room at 10:15 or right after Sunday School.  Thank you

We had a real Animal Classification Specialist come to school to teach us about animals.

(Mr. Trinklein is a retired Biology High School Teacher and my dad!)
