to warm up. Look for me to direct your child up the stairs, Mrs. Brenner will be at the top of the stairs to direct your child to the music room. The class will come down for the children's message and will then go and sit with their family for the remainder of the service.

Avengers Assemble
On Wednesday, October 15th, we will be having a special Super Hero Day. In honor of Drew Albritton’s birthday, we will be wearing Super Hero T-Shirts and collecting superhero items. These items will be delivered to the superheroes at Friends of Kids with Cancer and they will distribute them to children and their siblings through the pediatric cancer treatment centers in St. Louis at Mercy Kids, St. Louis Children’s, and Cardinal Glennon hospitals. Drew’s family has donated thousands of superhero items for ten years, in the memory of Drew, to kids battling cancer.
Drew was a preschooler here at Zion who bravely fought cancer and now is with the biggest superhero of all, Jesus! The Albrittons thank you for your support in avenging pediatric cancer in honor of Drew.
Please bring your superhero items anytime between now qnd Wednesday, October 15th. Action figures, costumes, toys, movies, backpacks, Lego sets, video games, shirts, or any items with a super hero theme are all welcome. Drew would be 16 this year help us make this the biggest donation year yet!
We have received so many thank you's and pictures from college students who have received our care packages. The first graders get excited to see how our act of service and kindness have helped to make someone else happy. I pray that this will spark a lifetime of service towards others! It really is so much fun to do something for someone else!
My teacher brought me a souvenir from the teacher conference!
These pouches were made by women Thailand. The Lutheran Heritage Foundation buys the pouches from the women to help them provide for their families and also provides the women with Bibles, Bible studies, and Christian fellowship. Please pray for this mission in Thailand a Buddhist county.
I can't wait to worship with my class family this weekend when first grade leads the church in song. See you Sunday.
