On Wednesday October 23, we will be having a special Super Hero Day.  In honor of Drew Albrittons’ birthday, we will be wearing Super Hero T-Shirts with jeans or athletic bottoms and collecting superhero items that will be delivered to the superheroes at Friends of Kids with Cancer and they will distribute them to children and their siblings through the pediatric cancer treatment centers in St. Louis at Mercy Kids, St. Louis Children’s, and Cardinal Glennon hospitals. Drew’s family has donated over 3,000 superhero items, in the memory of Drew, to kids battling cancer.

Drew was a preschooler here at Zion who bravely fought cancer and now is with the biggest superhero of all, Jesus!  The Albrittons thank you for your support in avenging pediatric cancer in honor of Drew.

You may  bring your superhero items to school anytime by October 2, we will take them over to chapel on Wednesday, October 23.  Action figures, costumes, toys, movies, backpacks, Lego sets, video games, shirts, or any items with a super hero theme are all welcome.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Thursday, October 26.

I have a full schedule, please keep me on time by knocking when it is your scheduled time.

Have a wonderful extra days off and enjoy the weekend!

May Church, Bible Study and Sunday School be a priority for your family.

In HIM,
Amy
