I want to share the GOOD NEWS with you!
I hope your child has been a witness to our Risen Savior to you.
The Easter candle is to be used by your family with your first grader during family devotion led by the first grader. I hope your child did this past week's devotion on Telling the Good News! Look forward to devotions on Mondays and Thursdays. If your child leads a devotion please take a picture and send it to me for our I CAN TELL board.
May your family be blessed by God's Word!

THURSDAY APRIL 18: We will be going on a 'field trip' to the Bouvevard Senior Center (just a block away) to share Jesus in song and give the residents a goodie bag. This is part of the SHINE event. We will be joining over 10,000 other Lutherans participating in 2 weeks of SHINE Service events in the state of Missouri.
Please sign the permission slip and return on Monday, April 15. Students can wear their regular uniforms as each child will be receiving a SHINE shirt for the day.
Plan on attending... The First- Third Grade musical will be on TUESDAY. MAY 21 @ 6 pm. Our class is in the chorus for this musical!!! Students will be given special t-shirts to wear the night of the musical with any uniform bottoms.
Next Friday my youngest daughter, Maddie, will be defending her dissertation at Concordia University Wisconsin. I will be taking a personal day to attend. The wonderful sub will be Mrs. Theimann.
Please send all communications that day through the office and Mrs. Holtz will let Mrs. Theimann know.
Please pray for safe travels and calm nerves for Maddie!
Thank you for the generous gifts and making my birthday special!
I hope you are enjoying the Easter season with your child. Easter is more than just Easter Sunday, we celebrate our risen Savior for 40 days. May you include family devotions (led by your child), weekend worship, and religious displays! (again your child should have somethings from school to add to your decor)
May worship be a priority for your family this weekend!
In Christ,
Amy
