You're Invited to Advent Family Fun Night!
We had a great time celebrating the beginning of Advent together last year and look forward to doing it again!
When: Saturday, Dec. 1st from 4pm-5pm
Where: Zion Lutheran Church Basement
What: There will be crafts, games, activities, and treats all centered around the nativity to kick off the Advent season! Bring your family and create a cool wooden nativity together. This is a free, open-house style event. Come for a few minutes or the whole hour! We hope to see you there!
Questions: Please contact Bethany Andrews, Children's Ministry Director at bandrews@zionharvester.org or 636-441-7425 to RSVP
Don't forget if you want to go in the snow you must have separate snow boots to change into and then put your school shoes back on after recess. Please send your child with the boots in a plastic bag.  That will help keep the hallway free of melting snow! We will go out for recess unless it is below 10 degrees actual or real feel temperature.  So dress accordingly.

What a nice surprise to see a big snow before Thanksgiving.
God gives us a reminder for what we should truly be THANKFUL:
His Son, our Savior, who takes away our sins and washes us white as snow.
Please join us November 16- December 30 for a Bible Study
on practical advice and encouragement on shaping the next generation
"Bringing Up Girls and Boys," l
ed by Jon and Amy Bernhardt and Joe and Laura Arens

This study will use video clips of Dr. James Dobson and small group discussion that will offer advice and encouragement rooted in biblical principles on raising strong, healthy and confident children.

May you have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy the week off!

We LOVE Mystery Doug Science...
We watch a video.
Then we discuss the answer to this week's question and write what we think and what we have learned.
This helps us learn to talk and write about science.
