November 4, 2016

On Tuesday we learned about All Saint's Day, a day we remember saints of the church.  We learned the Saints are special people to God and His church.  Saints are FORGIVEN sinners whom God has CHOSEN to do HIS WORK in the world.  We are God's Saints FORGIVEN, CHOSEN, and WORKING for Him.

Make worship on Sunday a priority and celebrate with all the saints in church.
No School for Students on TUESDAY due to Zion being a election site.

Thank you for helping to provide Thanksgiving dinners to 20 seminarians.  Our offerings for the month of November will go to buy the turkeys.  What a great way to help support those who spread the Good News.  You may sent food in anytime between now and November 16.
We are working on buying turkeys!
We had a great MUFFINS for MOMS.  I want to thank those who came and I want let moms know that you are invited to chapel every week.  We would love to have you join us!
Enjoy the pictures!

Look in the Friday folder for information about Auction Donations.  I often ask for a donation from my hairdresser or restaurants that I go to frequently.

This week we learned about how Hannah prayed for a baby.
We made prayer journals to use at home to help us with our prayer life.  Please encourage your child and family to use the journal to guide your prayer time.

We also learned that God called Samuel and he answered, "Here I am Lord your servant is listening."  May we also answer God's call and serve Him as we tell others about Jesus.

Have a great weekend,
In HIM,
Amy Bernhardt
