This weekend in church we will hear and sing that Jesus is our Shepherd.
He sacrificed His life so that we would be right with God.
He died so that we would live.
He rose and conquered sin, death, and the devil. Praise to Jesus our Good Shepherd!

WE SING THIS SUNDAY APRIL 26 at 8:00am. Please have your child in the upper music room at 7:45am.

Memory: First part of the Second Article of the Apostle's Creed

(A reminder if your child wants to say the whole Apostle's Creed all at once that is acceptable and he/she would be done with memory for the rest of the year!! Many students are finished with memory:))

The Lutheran High Fine Arts Festival is this Saturday, April 25 from 8-12 pm. Our Eric Carle inspired collages will be on display. Feel free to stop by and check them out!

There is a Milestone 6 class coming up on Sunday, April 26th. Any child that is 6 or 7 years old is eligible to attend. The focus of this class is for 6/7 year olds and their parents to learn how to keep this age group involved in worship. This is a 1 week class during the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30 a.m.). This Milestone concludes with the 6/7 year olds and their parents being presented a worship bag during the following week’s worship service. Parents will need to RSVP to Sara Kuhlmann, Director of Early Childhood at skuhlmann@zionharvester.org to attend this class.

Students in PDO-2nd grade will celebrate Week of the Young Child on May 4th-8th. During this week, we celebrate the blessing of young children, especially all of the young children here at Zion! As part of the celebration, there will be optional dress-up days this week. The themes are listed below:

Monday: Sports Shirt Day-wear a sports shirt of their favorite team

Tuesday: Favorite Color Day

Wednesday: Spirit Day - Wear red or white or Zion wear

Thursday: Stripes Day

Friday: Mismatched Socks Day

Please remember that these dress-up days are optional! If your child chooses not to participate, he/she should be in Zion standardized dress (K-2nd grade). If your child participates, he/she doesn't have to be in standardized dress. It should be a fun week!

The musical is FRIDAY MAY 8 at 7:00pm.

Please have your child in the church basement at 6:30 pm.

First and Second Graders are to wear a GREEN shirt (polo preferred or any plain green shirt) and KHAKI bottoms.

Happy Baptismal Birthday Olivia and Alyssa!

We made landform books in Science.

Sixth graders came to teach us more about Pastor Sam's work in India.
Our chapel offerings total $4,000 for the Christian Resource Center in India.
Pastor Sam has told us the money has been used to by Bible, VBS materials, a slide projector, and Bible story books.
