Let my prayer rise up like incense before you,
the lifting of my hands as an offering to you.
Keep watch within in me, God;
Deep in my heart may the light of your love be burning bright.
May you continue to journey with Jesus this Lent.

GRANDPARENT'S DAY is MARCH 13. This day is for Grandparents or another special adult to spend the morning with us at school. This is a half day of school.
-Two invitations are in the Friday folder.
In the invitation is a schedule of the mornings events.
Please fill out the permission form (also in the Friday folder) so that I know who is taking your child home from school on Friday, March 13, Grandparent's Day, as it is a HALF day.
ZION AUCTION will be held at Old Hickory Golf Club on March 27, 2015., it is a great night. It would be fun to have several first grade tables attend!! Please bid on our class auction item!
Please don't worry about the letter on the leveled readers that come home. Many times I don't have enough of the leveled readers so I will go down a level. The books are used to work on fluency so it is better that the book is easier than harder. Thanks
Also PLEASE RETURN LEVELED BOOKS ON MONDAY, as I am missing quite a few!
I will be collecting PIZZA HUT BOOK IT and READING LOGS on Monday, please put them back into folders. New logs will come home Monday as well.
Please be careful at pick up if you pick your child up by the side doors. I have noticed several cars parking along the driveway that pull out while kids are still moving and going to parents. This makes me nervous so PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF MOVING CARS!
I have sent home in the Friday folder an information and log on sheet to use STORYJUMPER.COM at home if your child is interested.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the pictures from this week.
