As we exit the third week in Advent we remember the JOY that Jesus brings to us both at Christmas and all year. We have complete JOY knowing that Jesus came to free us from the slavery of sin, death, and the devil. We have complete JOY knowing that we are given the gift of new life.

Our Class Party is Thursday, we will be baking cookies to give out to others. I do have enough helpers. Thank you!! Those who signed up to help: Mrs. Gotsch and mom, Mrs. McAlister and in law, Mrs. Kainady, Mrs. Bingaman, Mr. Boain, Mrs Tepen and mother in law, Mr. Masa, Mrs. Dalton. Thank you for volunteering. Please be here at 9:00 and meet in our room. If any one has a cookie scoop that we could borrow I would love to have several (10) to use. Please label your scoop and it in if we can borrow a scoop.
We will be having a pizza lunch, a fruit, drink and cookies at our party!!! Thank you Mrs. Masa for organizing the food and shopping for the cookie ingredients!
I am so proud of the class and how they were a strong witness to FOCUS on JESUS. How true the words of the children are, sometimes we are so worried about details, activities, and making everything perfect that we can loose sight of what Christmas is all about, JESUS!
