I want to share the GOOD NEWS with you!

I hope your child has been a witness to our Risen Savior to you.

I hope  you are enjoying the Easter season with your child.  Easter is more than just Easter Sunday, we  celebrate our risen Savior for 40 days.  May you include family devotions (led by your child), weekend worship, and religious displays! (again your child should have somethings from school to add to your decor)

Today we spend time with 10,000 other Lutherans participating in 2 weeks of SHINE Service events.  We cleaned tables, wrote letters to first graders at Trinity Jefferson City, painted signs for plants given to shut ins, and repainted the rock garden!

In Him,
Amy Bernhardt

Thank you so much for helping to teach generosity to your child.

We have the opportunity to help Trinity Jefferson City.  They will be using other church building in their area to finish the year.  No one is allowed in any of their buildings, so our offerings will go to help them get supplies and materials for the end of the year.  We have already sent some money but we would like to us chapel to get more to cover continued costs of rebuilding.

April 6, 2023

 Surely He took up our pain

and bore our suffering,

yet we considered Him punished by God,

stricken by Him, and afflicted.

But He was pierced for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on Him,

 and by His wounds we are healed.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,

each of us has turned to our own way;

and the LORD has laid on Him

the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:4-6

The angel said to the women,
“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for
Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen,
just as He said.
Come and see the place where He lay.
Then go quickly and tell His disciples: ‘
He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.
There you will see Him.’ Now I have told you.”
Matthew 28:5-7

May the Risen Lord fill you with PEACE!
Your salvation has been won.  You have new life!

Have a wonderful EASTER!
