He will always love us.
He will always forgive us.
He will give us eternal life.

NO SCHOOL TOMORROW FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14: Teachers will be attending the St. Louis Lutheran Teacher's Conference.

LEVELED READING BOOKS:  On Monday your child will bring home a book that is on your child's level and your child should be able to read it with minimal help.  Please have your child read these books, they should even read them several times.  This helps to build fluency and self confidence.  Please send the books back on the following Monday. Each week your child will receive a new book.  If books are not returned or lost there is a $1 fee to replace the book.

Reading is so important in First Grade.  The best way to become a good reader is to READ, READ, READ!  Thank you for helping your child become a good reader.
I am in need of 25 adult size shoe boxes for a service project on October 15.
If you are able to help please send them in to school.
I have finished the first testing of HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS.
Please look in the Friday Folder and work with your child on the highlighted words.
I will retest the first week in October.

We learned about our freedoms and how our government and military  protect our freedoms.
We made a collage in art to show our patriotism.
