One of the best parts of my job is that I get a front row to watch the work of the Holy Spirit in my student's lives.
I am so excited to share this invitation with you.
Ella Grace is getting BAPTIZED and we are invited to attend the service. May 6 at 9am at Harvester Baptist Church.

The Magic House is coming to us on MAY 2, 12:00-2.  We need to have 10 parent helpers between the two first grade classes.  I had 4 parents sign up; Mrs. Kvet, Mrs. Schmidt, Mrs. Hamilton, and Mrs. Erdmann.  Let me know if you can't help and I STILL NEED ONE MORE HELPER.  Email me if you can help on that day.

WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD

People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.  But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

I treasure each child in my class and I thank you for bringing them to Zion.  Here at Zion your child is given the blessing of learning about their Savior.

Week of the Young Child was so much FUN

 just like childhood should be!

MUSIC MONDAY

We made instruments and then learned about rhythm and beats.

  We wore crazy socks!!!

TASTY TUESDAY

We showed our school spirit and shared a friendship fruit salad.

WORK TOGETHER WEDNESDAY

We wore teams shirts and worked in teams to complete STEM building challenges!

ARTSY THURSDAY
We wore our favorite color and then created a collaborative art piece. (look for it in next week's blog)

 FAMILY FRIDAY
We slept all day in our PJs! :)

 We finished our tiny house STEAM project.  It was a challenge to fit our needs and a few wants into our tiny house!
