This week we learned that the angel told Mary and Joseph that the baby should be named
JESUS, which means "GOD SAVES".
The prophets foretold that Jesus name would be
EMMANUEL, which means, "GOD IS WITH US"
Make time this weekend to worship and prepare your heart for the Baby who came to earth to be WITH US and to SAVE US!

-Red or Green Polo and Uniform bottoms for the 10 am service.
-For the 7pm service please have your child arrive at 6:45 p.m. in the church basement.
Teachers will not be in the church basement until this time, so please stay with your child until a teacher arrives.
Students will need to be wearing standardized dress or church clothes. Masks are optional for this service. Please keep your child's coat and belongings with you because after the service you will be meeting your child in the narthex/welcome center area near the sanctuary.
After the service please meet your child in the WELCOME CENTER, in back of the church!
-Your child will need to be in attendance at both services; parents and family are welcome to come to either service.
Please read through the administration's email that was sent out on 11/17 regarding mask regulations for the 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. services for adults that are attending the services.
The teacher's will be taking a group picture of each class in front during the service and we will share the picture with you.
FRIDAY IS A HALF DAY WITH DISMISSAL AT NOON!

We will be making Christmas Bags for the Sunday School, playing games, making a snack and craft and eating pizza!
I really enjoy preparing for Christmas with the kids, this second week of Advent. I look forward to next week, the third week of Advent and the JOY it will bring!

Christmas Centers...
Fun Friday was full of excitement.
Our STEAM challenge was to use 2 pipe cleaners, a christmas tree light and a battery to make a tree with a 'star' on top.
We had to to a lot of trial and error to light it!
