Repent means to turn around. We too have a heart full of sin, yet God loves us, forgives us, and takes care of us. We can turn our hearts around by repenting our sins. God is faithful and just and He will forgive our sins and fill our hearts with Jesus.

Reading: we continue to work on decoding, comprehension, and fluency :)
Fluency Readers: Please have your child read the books that get sent home each night. These books should be easy to read and should be read like you talk. PLEASE SEND THE BOOKS BACK TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY. I find keeping them in the red folder helps. These are school property and are used by many classes. If you lose a book I will now be charging $1 to pay for the cost and time to make a new one. Thank you

Joseph was down and out. His brothers wanted to kill him, instead they sold him into slavery. He was in a foreign land as a slave alone. Then he was wrongly accused and thrown into jail. Things were bad. We know that God used Joseph to save the people from the famine. Joseph forgave his brothers and reunited his family. What a wonderful God who works all things for good.
