Week of the Young Child NEXT WEEK: April 24-28
Early Learning Program through Second Grade Students are invited to celebrate The Week of the Young Child!
If students in Kindergarten through Second Grade decide not to participate,
he or she should wear the regular standardized dress.
4/24 Music Monday – Wear Silly Socks and Jeans! We will be making musical instruments with the other 1 T
4/25 Tasty Tuesday – Dress in your favorite athletic clothes or sports attire with or without jeans!
Please bring in a baggie of cut fruit to add to our Friendship Fruit Salad
4/26 Work Together Build Together Wednesday – Wear your favorite Zion Spirit Wear and Jeans We are All for One! We will do some STEM building activities with 1T
4/27 Artsy Thursday – It’s Mis-Match and Jean Day! Your outfit doesn’t have to match! We will be doing outside art on Friday with our buddy class, Mrs Hoehner's preschool class
4/28 Family Friday – Pajama Day with or without jeans! Share our family poster. Please see information sheet in the Homework Folder and send in your family poster by next Friday!
MAGIC HOUSE- The Magic House will be here next Friday to teach us about recycling. Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to help with the experiments. I have Mrs. Feigenbaum, Mrs. Kainady, Mrs. Dalton, Mrs. Gotsch, and Mr, Dersch scheduled to help. Please meet in the church basement by 12:30 as the Magic House will train you from 12:30-1, we will arrive at 1:00 and will leave at 2:00. Please help clean up and then you can leave. Thanks!
Tuesday, April 25 bring $1.00 and you will get a bottle of water and flavor packet. Money will be used to help pay for the recycled bottle cap benches!
The 1st-3rd Grade Musical is set for May 5 at 6:00pm.
COSTUMES FOR THE PLAY: Dress for the night of the performance will be khaki bottoms (pants, shorts, or skirt).
