October 21, 2016

This week in Chapel we heard that we are slaves to sin.  Jesus sets us FREE!  We need to use our freedom to SERVE ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE.

I am amazed at the witness and love shown by this class.

Look at how we have lived our FREEDOM in CHRIST and SERVED OTHERS IN LOVE this week:

We have collected money for 15 Bible.  Pastor Rietz will be taking the Bible to Belize in November.
We have collected a whole crate full of superhero toys to celebrate Drew's life.  There is still time I will be taking the gifts to Mrs. Albritton on Monday after school.  The gifts will be donated in Drew's memory to FRIENDS WITH KIDS WITH CANCER.
We made cards an gave Mr. Tyler Debrick gifts for his birthday this week.

We used our Fall Party to do a service project for college kids.  We made cards...

wrote letters...

and packed  care packages for college students who are members of Zion church.

Please work on the doubles facts with your child.   Focus on the double facts 6-9

The first math facts test will be on Wednesday.  The students should be able to do 20 facts in 2 minutes.
The test will be over the Doubles Facts 0-5.

This we talked about the 10 commandments.  We should not see these as a punishment from God.  Instead we should trust in Him and know that He wants us to be happy and God has given us a guide to follow.  Thank God for His commandments and Thank Him for sending His Son to forgive us when we don't follow His guide for us!

Have a great weekend, live your FREEDOM in CHRIST, WORSHIP the LORD your GOD,
