We continue to REJOICE and celebrate EASTER!

The musical isTHURSDAY, April 21 at 7:00pm. 
Please have your child in the church basement at 6:45 pm.
First Graders are to wear a RED shirt (polo preferred or any plain red shirt) and KHAKI bottoms.

NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY APRIL 22 - SPRING BREAK DAY

Please look in the Friday Folder for at flyer for a FREE FAMILY NIGHT at the Botanical Gardens.
Your schools are invited to our May 12th Family Night at the Garden!  
The event runs from 5:30-7:30 on May 12, 2016.  
Attendees that night will enjoy:
o   Free admission to the Garden and the Children’s Garden,
o   A light meal and 
o   Activities on the grounds,
o   An opportunity to explore and play in our new Brookings Exploration Center and

o   A chance to experience educational fun in the PlantLab!
I am part of the Sprouting Science Learning Group and this is a perk for us being a partner school!

ALLELUIA CHRIST IS RISEN
HE HAS RISEN INDEED ALLELUIA!

Easter Sunday the woman were met at the empty tomb by an angel telling them that Jesus is no longer dead.  He is alive!  We celebrate Christ resurrection as He conquered sin, death, and the devil.  May we continue to celebrate the new life that Christ has won for us.  May we boldly tell others that Christ is Risen, He has RISEN indeed, ALLELUIA!

WEDNESDAY, April 13, is a half day with school dismissed at 12:00.
To celebrate OPENING DAY for the CARDINALS
MONDAY, April 11, students may wear JEANS and CARDINAL/BASEBALL T-SHIRTS
On Friday we will have an in house field trip.
The Magic House will come to us as we learn about
ecology.  Thank you to the parents we signed up to help!


Thursday, April 21 is our Primary Grade Musical.
First Grade students are to wear RED shirts and Khaki bottoms.
Please have your child in the church basement at 6:45 for the musical.



Some students have a SIGHT WORD sheet in the Friday Folder.  Please practice the highlighted words for fourth quarter.  I will retest in early May.

I plan on having a Summer Reading Club to help students maintain their reading and writing.  Look for more information in coming weeks.

Just like Easter Lilies trumpet the Good News we can tell others Jesus is Alive!
