Join us on March 8/9 for our Faith Milestones class for children in 1st or 2nd Grade! Our 1st/2nd Grade Faith Milestones course will equip parents and children in their discipleship journeys focusing on the spiritual habit of Home Devotions. At least one parent is to attend the class with their son/daughter. To accommodate busy schedules, we have two class offerings: Saturday, March 8 @ 4:00-4:45pm OR Sunday, March 9 @ 9:30-10:15am. Children who attend a milestones class will be invited forward with their parents at the beginning of the 5:00pm or 10:30am service on March 8/9 to receive a blessing. Childcare is available for siblings as needed.

Shirt orders are due Friday, February 14.

The price will be $13 per shirt.

If you need more than 5 shirts, you will need to complete the form a second time. Thank you for your understanding.

We cannot wait to make Grandparents and Special Friends Day a fun-filled day for all!

Please keep my family in your prayers as my uncle passed away unexpectedly on Monday.  My family and I will be traveling Thursday after my daughters get off work to Detroit for the visitation and funeral Friday and Saturday.  Especially keep my Uncle Don's wife and my mom in your prayers as this sudden loss has been especially hard on them.  We mourn but we do not mourn without hope.  We know that he is with our Savior.  My Uncle was a Lutheran teacher and administrator his whole life.  Fun fact he was Pastor Rouland's principal in high school and dean of students in college! I know my uncle impacted many students lives for an eternity.  I wait the joyful reunion with him and all saints who have gone before us.

Have a wonderful 4 day weekend.  May worship be a part of that weekend!
In Him,
Amy

I keep telling the class to wash their hands so that we can stay healthy.  So far our class hasn't been too bad.  Thank you for keeping sick kids home and picking up homework from the  foyer cubby.

I had the best experience this week when our class was working on the Jesus Blesses Children craft and someone asked if I put put on the video for Isaiah 43:1.  The class singing and working warmed my heart.  I told Miss Kearns (our LHS intern) this is what is so great about being a lutheran teacher!

Enjoy your weekend, make worship a priority for your family.
