Thank you for the birthday cards and gifts.  I am grateful for your love and support this year!

I hope  you are enjoying the Easter season with your child.  Easter is more than just Easter Sunday, we  celebrate our risen Savior for 40 days.  May you include family devotions (led by your child), weekend worship, and religious displays! (again your child should have somethings from school to add to your decor)

Surely He took up our pain

and bore our suffering,

yet we considered Him punished by God,

stricken by Him, and afflicted.

But He was pierced for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on Him,

 and by His wounds we are healed.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,

each of us has turned to our own way;

and the LORD has laid on Him

the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:4-6

Friday April 2- Friday April 9
Enjoy the week off!

I hope you enjoyed your Easter Rock and the Resurrection Eggs.  May church and Christ's resurrection be part of your Easter break.  I hope your child is able to share the GOOD NEWS with you and your family using what they have learned at the props sent home should help.

Dear Parents and Families:

SAVE THE DATE! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming back to Zion Lutheran School.  While the fair will look a little differently this year (virtual), we still plan on making it a fun experience for our kids, and most importantly, will keep them reading. Our Virtual Fair begins April 16, 2021.

To keep things exciting, the classroom with the most orders will win an ice cream party! How "COOL" is that?

We can’t wait to “see” you at the fair!

Fair Dates: Friday, April 16Wednesday, April 28, 2021

The angel said to the women,
“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for
Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen,
just as He said.
Come and see the place where He lay.
Then go quickly and tell His disciples: ‘
He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.
There you will see Him.’ Now I have told you.”
Matthew 28:5-7

May the Risen Lord fill you with PEACE!
Your salvation has been won.  You have new life!

Have a wonderful EASTER and Easter Break!

In our RISEN SAVIOR,
Amy Bernhardt
