April 29, 2022

I hope your child has been sharing the family devotions with you.  This is a good way to help children get comfortable with sharing their faith.  Each week a devotion will come home on Monday and Thursday.  The devotions will use a Bible story from the new Bible they received this week.

I hope this is a good together time for your family.  I hope it shows you different ways you could do a family devotion.  I pray this builds confidence in your child to lead a devotion and share his/her faith with family members. My prayer is your family is blessed and grows in faith with the devotions.

Next Friday, Mrs. Talley will be subbing for me as I attend my daughter Grace's Graduation.  Her Lutheran Education Graduation is Friday at 3 in Seward, Nebraska and her Bachelors Degree Graduation is Saturday.  I am proud to announce she has accepted a call to teach preschool at CCLS, Christ Community Lutheran School in St. Louis!

The First- Third Grade musical will be on
Thursday, May 12th @ 6 pm.
Our class is in the chorus for this musical!!!
Students will be given special t-shirts to wear the night of the musical with any uniform bottoms.

As it gets closer to summer I want to remind you not to take a vacation from God.  This class loves to lead devotions. They also have a very mature prayer life.  They are excited to hear and read the Bible. They love to share the GOOD NEWS!  I ask that you continue to nourish their faith.

Make a commitment to attend church weekly.

Show your children that nothing is more important than God,
-not vacations (visit another church where you are vacationing),
-not sports (take advantage of the various services times and days),
-not sleeping in or boating or golf (show that God is important to you and make a point to worship even when it isn’t easy).

Your child will be blessed by your faithfulness to worship and will follow your example.

In Him,
Amy
