September 26, 2014

As I think about the Bible verse for this week, "You did not chose me, I chose you." John 15:16
I am so grateful to God.  We all want to be picked for the team.  Before I was born God had picked me for His team.  He chose me to be His child.  He loves me and makes me His through Baptism.  He marked me as His own, with the sign of the cross on my forehead and my heart.

Spend an hour or two this weekend worshipping and praise our God, we loves us, forgives us, and choses us to be HIS FOREVER.  I am doing the children's message this weekend I hope my students come up and hear about how God gives us our time and how we should spend that time.

Picture Retakes
OCTOBER 1
Lutheran High School Students and Mrs. Schank came to lead chapel.

Psalm 139:1
God knows all about us, our ways, our steps, how many hairs are on our head, and even how many times we stand up and sit down.  God cares for us so much for us!
Make time to worship our caring God this weekend!  He chose you, now choose to make Him a priority in your weekend!

A peek at our week:

We worked on Guided Writing this week.

We build words using chunks we have learned.
We always practice our spelling words.
We sorted words by short vowels sounds.
We observed seeds and wrote down what we saw.
We changed one letter in a word to make a new word.
We put together a poem and then hunted for sight words.
We love to read with our friends.
We ate every part of a plant.

Some of us finished our whole plate!

We then made a book about plant parts we eat.

Aaron had a great idea to make cards for the lunch helpers.

We delivered the cards and showed God's love to others!
Pastor Rouland was our VIP Reader
He read 2 books!

ENJOY ALL THE PICTURES FROM THE FIELD TRIP!!
