For God so loved the world that
He gave His one and only Son
that whoever believes in Him will not perish,
but have eternal life.  John 3:16

This week my daugheter's confirmation we studied the third commandment, Remember the sabbath day by keeping it holy.  Pastor Reitz told us that in church we worship together as God’s children.  In church God fills us with His love and forgiveness.  It is then up to us to carry that love and forgiveness out into our week and share it with others.  This week we learned that Jesus wants us to be Fishers of Men.  May we share with others God’s love and forgiveness.
Look and read as we tell you how we will fish for men!

THANK YOU for bringing your child to church last weekend.  The children sounded great.  It really tugs at your heartstrings to hear them praise our Savoir.  Thank you for changing schedules to have them sing 2 weeks in a row!  Our next opportunity to sing in Church is Sunday, March 4 at the 11:00 service!

OPEN HOUSE: This Sunday Zion is hosting our school open house from 1-3.  Invite others to see what we are all about!

I have started to expect more from the class.  I want them to start becoming SECOND GRADERS.  I will be stricter when grading memory.  I will expect correct sentences when writing.  I will be looking for them to transfer knowledge of spelling words and patterns into their everyday work.  You may see more correct and return or redo sheets.

If you have not been in the habit of attending Bible Study this maybe the weekend to start.  There are many new Bible Studies being offered.  I am very interesting in the CREATION/EVOLUTION study.  Come to the church basement, get a donut, send the kids to Sunday School, and attend a Bible Study.  I will be looking for you, come join me at my table!

In HIM,
Amy
