"Sign us with ashes, merciful God,
children of dust, as to dust we return.
Sign us with ashes, merciful God,
mark us and make us your own."
God has marked us at our baptisms. He makes us His and promises to never let go. As we journey through Lent let us focus on the price that was paid for us. To claim us God sacrificed His only Son. Praise be to God for His everlasting love for us.
I hope your family has had the opportunity to use the Lent worship center. May this be a reminder to spend time as a family around God’s Word and in prayer. Thank you to Paul Trinklein, my dad and Isaiah's grandpa, for cutting out the cross pieces for us to put together!

GRANDPARENT DAY INVITATIONS are being sent home today in the Friday folder. Your child may fill them out and give them to a Grandparent or other special adult friend. Grandparents/special adult may follow the schedule in the invitation. If you have more than one child the grandparents may want to take the children to the book fair before school at 7:30, that way they only have to go one time with all grandchildren.
Please fill out the Grandparent dismissal form so I will know your child's plans after school on Grandparent's Day.
In this time of Lent I do hope you make time to go to the Wednesday Lent services and keep faithful Sunday worship.
I INVITE you to attend one of our new Sunday Bible Studies. I really encourage you to attend the Creation/Evolution study that meets in the church basement. The introduction week was awesome and I hope you can join.
In HIM,
Amy
Sorry I forgot to take pictures this week. I will do better next week!
